This is What Drives Me:

-Love God with everything you have and are!

-Love other people with Christ’s Love, so they can see Christ in you and come to Christ themselves!

-Do everything with Passion, to please the Lord!

-Faith without Missions is dead.  We cannot truly embrace a life-changing faith without putting our faith into action.

Welcome to our webpage! Take a look around the site– you’ll see that we love God, love being a part of this family of God, and love living in mission to the world. We hope that you will see in us that living for God makes all the difference in the world! We strive to do what we do with passion and compassion, with discipleship and fellowship and faithfulness, so that we will build God’s kingdom here and wherever God leads us.

I believe God loves us and wants to be in a loving relationship with us that transforms every day we live and every relationship we are in. More than mere “religion”, I believe this Love relationship lights up the deepest parts of who we are, to the point that we then become the lights of Christ to the world. You will find that these ideals drive everything about me– my church life, my family life, how I spend my days– everything. That’s my goal, and it has implications:

·  Church life is about deepening our walk with God and our impact for Christ. Whatever we do, it will be to respond to what God calls us to. We love one another deeply and have a passion for the people outside the church who need the Life and Hope of Christ.

· Worship with Passion. “Going through the motions” is not an option. Come and be a part of worship that brings us to throne of God and lets God change us and speak to us.

·  Love to laugh, and enjoy life. God invented laughter, and Joy is a gift from God. We above all people should have so much joy, peace and love that people see something in us that they want for themselves.

God has placed me and my family here at Farmville UMC for a reason– God is great, and it is always great to be a part of something God is doing! Know that God is able to do abundantly far more than we can ever ask or imagine, and that when he calls us to something, he enables us to do it!
